Jeanne finds that many of her abstracts reflect the cosmos that has always fascinated her Father, Dr. Robert R. Brownlee. The beauty being revealed by recent discoveries all have one thing in common. Light. Jeanne uses metal leafing in many of her abstracts, bringing the dimension of light to the painting. Though many of her abstracts have sold, there may be prints available. As a daughter of an astronomer, Jeanne is in awe of images captured by Hubble and the James Web Space Telescope. She finds her brush interpreting some of the wonders of the seen and unseen. Her Father always admonished her saying, "You don't think big enough." As near as she can tell, just about anything she imagines can be true.  Click on the image to view available Artwork or click to visit my Archived Works.

Jeanne began her art career painting still life. Florals are a particular favorite subject of hers though she enjoys painting other objects as well.  Click on the image to view available Artwork or click to visit my Archived Works.

Florals are a favorite subject of Jeanne's.  This collection invites viewers into a delicate interplay of subtle color variants and strong contrasts, much like the rhythms and shapes of life experienced throughout any given day.  The refined harmony of hues and forms reflect nuanced emotions and themes which create a visual narrative that is both gentle and dynamic. Click on the image to view available Artwork or click to visit my Archived Works.

A new era is dawning in the field of Fine Art. Now there are multiple ways you can own a piece of original artwork. Traditionally, you purchased the original outright from the artist or gallery, or a numbered lithograph, but now with the explosion of the digital world, art can be reproduced on just about anything. Jeanne finds herself acting on something she has always envisioned, which is marrying her art with technology. It is an exciting time to a creative!  Click on the image to view available Artwork or click to visit my Archived Works.
