Particulates

The delicate colors give this piece an atmospheric feeling which plays nicely with the strong colors and hard lines.  The accent of the gold metal leafing brings the dimension of light into the painting.  With the movement of the head, and the time of the day, the leafing catches the light differently, and the painting develops personality.
